Ice Age BlockIce Age Block consists of cards from Ice Age, Homelands, and Alliances. The following cards are banned in Ice Age Block: Amulet of Quoz, Thawing Glaciers, Timmerian Fiends, and Zuran Orb. Mirage BlockMirage Block consists of cards from the Mirage, Visions, and Weatherlight sets. The following card is banned in this format: Squandered Recources. Tempest Block (also known as The Rath Cycle)The Rath Cycle consists of cards from the Tempest, Stronghold, and Exodus sets. The following card is banned in this format: Cursed Scroll. Urza's BlockUrza's Block consists of cards from the Urza's Saga, Urza's Legacy, and Urza's Destiny sets. The following cards are banned in Urza's Block: Gaea's Cradle, Memory Jar, Serra's Sanctum, Time Spiral, Tolarian Academy, Voltaic Key, and Windfall. Masques Block (The Masquerade Block)Masques Block consists of cards from the Mercadian Masques, Nemesis, and Prophecy sets. The following cards are banned in Masques Block: Lin Sivvi, and Rishadan Port. Invasion Block (IBC)IBC consists of cards from the Invasion, Planeshift, and Apocalypse sets. There are currently no banned or restricted cards in this format. |
