Type 2 (also called Standard)

What is Type 2?

Type 2 consists of cards from the current edition plus the two most recent "blocks" of expansion sets. As of Nov. 2nd, 2001, this will be 7th Edition, Invasion, Planeshift, Apocalypse, and Odyssey. When a new main set comes out the oldest block "rotates" out of Type 2. There are currently no banned or restricted cards in Type 2. The normal rules of 60 card deck minimum and no more than 4 of a card, besides basic land, apply.
